Children's Ministry:
Children's ministry is one of the
focal points of our ministry at True Life Church. We believe that
children are very special, and we will do our best to care for
them and teach them in a safe and loving environment. Our
Children's Ministry is divided into four areas: Nursery A (birth
to 12 months), Nursery B (12 to 24 months), Preschool (3 and 4
years), and Children's Church (age 5 through 5th grade). Donna
Cochran is our Nursery Coordinator and Susan Adams is the
Children's Church Coordinator. Parents will be asked to register
their children and give pertinent information at the registration
table in the lobby area.
Nursery:
This is for children up to
age 24 months. One of our ushers will direct you to the nursery
area. Please give the workers any information that is needed for
the care of your children. Please pick up your child as soon as
possible at the conclusion of the service.

Preschool:
This is for three
and four years olds. They have their own room. Parents will be
asked to get a security tag to present when picking up children.
Families have the option with this age group for them to start out
in the worship service and then be dismissed to their class at the
end of the music or to place them in the classroom from the
beginning of the service. The children will do age-appropriate
activities that are designed for them to learn and have fun at the
same time. Parents are asked to pick up their preschoolers as soon
as possible after the worship service.
Children's
Church:
It is for
kindergarteners through fifth graders. They will be dismissed to
Children's Church at the end of the music. Parents are asked to
instruct these children to return to them in the worship center at
the conclusion of the service.
Children's Church features a hands on approach to learn about
Jesus and His love. A different Bible truth is emphasized each
month and taught through example from the Bible, nature, and
everyday life. It is a place where children can grow in wisdom,
faith, and friendship. Music, crafts, fun activities, stories,
teaching, and discussion give the children varied opportunities to
learn biblical principles that will stick with them throughout the
course of their lives.
