Jimmy Inman is serving as Church Planter/Teaching Pastor at True Life Church.

He was born on August 23, 1970 in Morristown, TN. Jimmy grew up in Morristown. Each of his parents taught elementary school there for over 30 years. Jimmy graduated from Morristown West High School in 1988 and Carson Newman College in 1992 with a Bachelor's Degree in History.

 He attended Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and graduated with a Master of Divinity with Biblical Languages Degree in 1995. Pastor Inman was ordained by Montvue Baptist Church in 1992.

Jimmy trusted Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized at the age of nine. He sensed God's call to pastoral ministry as a teenager but had other plans for his life and sought to avoid it for a while. Finally, he gave in and accepted God's call at the age of 19 when he was a sophomore at Carson Newman. He has been involved in ministry for 13 years. Jimmy has served at three churches prior to moving back to Morristown in August of 2002 to begin True Life Church. He was the Assistant Pastor and later Interim Pastor at Montvue Baptist Church in Morristown, TN; Youth Minister and Interim Church Administrator at Open Door Baptist Church in Raleigh, NC; and most recently, Senior Pastor at Berean Baptist Church in Frederick, MD for almost six years.

Jimmy married Robin Wilder on May 12, 1990. They had met and begun dating the previous summer. Robin was also born and raised in Morristown. She was a Summer Missionary and Children's Minister before she met Jimmy. She has a heart for ministry, and they have always approached ministry as a team effort. However, they believe their primary ministry is found in the home.

Robin and Jimmy have three children. Jay is nine years old and is in fourth grade at Alpha Intermediate School. Mollie is six and attends first grade at Alpha Primary School. We sometimes refer to her as "Miracle Mollie" because of the great work of healing that God has done in her life. She was born with a very rare birth defect called a coronary artery fistula and almost died when she was two days old. She had heart surgery when she was three days old. However, God has touched her, and she is doing great now.  Lillie was born July 26th of 2004.

The Inman's are excited about God calling them to start True Life Church and are thankful for the opportunity to serve the Lord in this way.
